Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:

- None

Call for opens:

Review of previous meeting minutes:

- Bob Ross moved to approve the Oct 31 minutes.
  Lance Wang seconded the motion.  Without objection minutes were approved.

ARs:

- Bob Ross and Mike LaBonte to draft contract for IBISCHK7.0.0
  - Mike: We should pass BIRD189 before doing this.
  - Bob: We should not pass 7.0 until we have a parser commitment.

- Bob Ross to write bug reports for new issues:
  - Not yet

IBISCHK7 development:
- Mike: Next year we will have new parser sales.
  - However, Bob estimates $25k development cost.
- Bob: The file directory hierarchy change affects many keywords.
  - BIRD189 is the big one.
- Mike: that will create new data structures.
- Bob: It has quite a few rules to check too.
- Mike: We started IBISCHK 6.1 work before it was passed, and that worked well.
- Bob: Having a good specification helps.
  - For IBIS 4.1 Atul quoted $25k, Jon Powell quoted $20k.
- Mike: And that was years ago.
- Bob: This one might be between $15k and $25k.
  - Iterations are costly. We had 5 iterations for 6.1.
  - Test cases are expensive too.
- Mike: Did the extra detail in the last contract help Atul?
- Bob: We have to tell him just the changes.
- Mike: We should begin work on the contract soon.
  - That will help us find the flaws in the specification.

- Mike showed contracts for 6.1.4 and 6.1.0.
- Mike: We would only need to work on the appendix up front.
  - Appendix item G is the most important part.
- Bob: It doesn't need to repeat the list of BIRDs.
- Mike: I could draft the appendix without BIRD 189.
- Bob: Some BIRDs will be marked "no parser change"
  - We will need to give all the character width limits that have changed.

AR: Mike LaBonte to draft IBISCHK7.0.0 contract

- None.
